Curio is a bar and restaurant that honors all things unconventional. Located within The Chapel, the Mission’s most prominent performance venue, our eclectic space brings together some of life’s greatest pleasures – well-crafted cocktails, delicious food, and live music from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Seats 20 guests for a sit down dinner or holds 30 guests for an informal cocktail reception. Large glass doors can be opened to provide fresh air and to create a separate entrance for your group. This room opens unto the large outdoor patio, providing an opportunity to combine the spaces for a larger indoor /outdoor event. Perfect for birthday dinners, happy hours, brunches, bridal and baby showers, engagement parties, small film receptions and more!

Curio

The charming restaurant space is accented with wood trim, a large granite bar  and gorgeous chandeliers. Part of the restaurant serves as a performance space and holds space for bands, Dj’s and performers, ideal for birthday and company parties.

Main bar

With a warm and inviting interior, the fully equipped, large private bar provides the perfect space for happy hours, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, podcasts, meet-ups, presentations, and large brunch parties.

Communal seating allows for larger groups to relax and enjoy themselves in a comfortable and cohesive setting. Includes state-of-the art sound system for DJ or small band performances, as well as TV monitors with Direct TV and DVD capabilities. An operable window between the Main Bar and Music Venue allows views of the main stage when combined with the music venue for larger events of 600+.

Patio

Beautiful patio with stucco walls, custom ironwork, railing, heaters, and nighttime lighting and a retractable roof.

Can be setup with a private bar. The patio can be combined with our restaurant and Chapel rentals to allow for outdoor receptions for private events. Perfect for cocktail recepiions, rehearsal dinners, brunch or group dinners.

The Chapel

The historic chapel combines sophisticated charm with cutting edge equipment to accommodate each event request with additional space provided by the beautiful mezzanine and balcony that overlook the music venue. 

The Chapel was named one of the ten most beautiful music venues in California (California Home And Design Magazine) and won Best Live Music Venue (SF Magazine) and Best Variety of Offerings (Nitey’s).

The Chapel includes two private bars, a stage, private dressing rooms, and professional sound, lighting, and video systems.
