Greens Restaurant

Greens is a landmark restaurant that paved the way for acceptance of vegetarian cuisine and pioneered working directly with local, organic farmers to bring the freshest seasonal produce to the table, under the direction of our celebrated Executive Chef Annie Somerville.

Opened in 1979 as part of the San Francisco Zen Center, the restaurant is located on the water’s edge in historic Fort Mason. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, the venue boasts panoramic breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands and the wildlife of San Francisco Bay.
